Emily and Alisyn Come to Visit

Alisyn and Emily just recently came down to stay a few days with me! We had a lot of fun! We walked over to a park near my house one night! Here the girls are in the rose garden!!

We also fed the ducks and fish at the pond! Alisyn was trying to get one close enough to pet...

One night we went to the drive in to see Night at the Museum. Ali totally crashed on the way home!
While I had to work the girls did different craft project (see below, also painted shirt, etc.), they also watched movies, read book from the library and played games!
We also went to Reid Park Zoo!

Alisyn the Turtle! We also got to pet a snake and a hedgehog! VERY COOL!
Later we when up Mt. Lemmon and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and also made s'mores! Yummy!
We hiked around Rose Canyon Lake! Cute girls, Emily found a walking stick!
Ali spotted a mama duck and her babies so we spent some time sneaking up on them! We also caught some crayfish!
Up on top of Mt. Lemmon! You can kind of see Tucson in the background!
We had a really fun time and got to do many neat things! I am looking forward to the other two coming down to hang out soon, but not until after I get to visit my husband!

Tieman Update

Ok so just a quick note to let you know what we have been up to... As many of you know Josh and I have been looking to downsize and get a mobile home (trailer trash, haha!) No, but it is a great and less expensive option! Do to our limited time and increased stress we have decided to stay in the home we are renting currently and our landlord is great! He is giving us a months rent free!

Josh is leaving in 3 weeks to do research at the University of Utah! He will be up there for almost 2 months :( I am going to get a go visit him once, but most the time will be hanging in Tucson working and having my sisters visit!

Anyway, besides that Josh is still doing great in school (he still has about 3 weeks left in his 1st year, YEAH!!) I am still working at Spa One doing facials and waxing! So we are keeping busy and doing well!

Picnic at Sabino Canyon

About a week ago Josh and I, along with our good friends, Mike and Molly, Tank and Jill and little Nixon, all went out for a hike and a picnic for Family Home Evening! It was so much fun! We took a few pictures, but the weather was perfect and I can't wait to do it again, before its way too HOT!!Hiking in we spotted a few deer on the side of the trail! They weren't even afraid, they just watched us and they were so close!

I am here in Surprise at my parents house looking for a picture and I happen upon these old photos! SO I just have to give a shout out to my BF Jenny (Hunsaker) Armstrong! Here's to all the good times!! LOVE YA!!

House Pics

Ok, I know its been a long time since my last post and thanks to an "anonymous someone" we just got a new camera! THANKS! I have had some requests for picture of the inside of our house so here it is, some quick snap-shot... THE GRAND TOUR!

This is our living room/dining room! The chairs, couch, coffee table and rug were left here by the owner for us to use! Its a nice place to entertain company!

I am standing just inside the door in front of our coat closet!

This was my Christmas present from my parents. Framed wedding photos, It kind of looks like a shrine! On either side a door way leading to the hall and kitchen areas.

One end of the hall the guest bathroom and kitchen....

The other mine and Josh's bathroom. (Wow, what is the correct grammar on that phrase?)
Anyway our house is kind of a circle in the back so I will just follow that!

Back it up just a bit and you have our workout/ hobby room! The closet is full of my craft and sewing stuff. Here are Josh's guitars and some of his art work! Pretty much any of the art work you see in our home is done by my talented hubby! I think we have something in almost every room!

I know it looks close, but it is actually perfect... like being at the theatre! The rug was here when we got here and tile just gets so cold! (we plug in Josh's laptop and what instant watch netflix on our tv)

My little kitchen, no dishwasher so the dishes are in the drainer in the sink!
We have a gas store, which is a first for me, but I love it!!
